More than 1,500 people took up the offer of an exclusive tour of the Rock site on Sunday.
The open day gave members of the public an insight into the development, which is just over three weeks from opening.
Feedback and suggestions were also welcomed by centre director David Laycock.
He said: “The big launch spectacular will be taking place on Friday, July 16, and we invite people to come down and enjoy the fun and help celebrate a new era for Bury town centre.”
