CHILDREN and volunteers came together to raise charity cash at Bury Hospice Christmas fair.
More than £3,000 was raised for terminally-ill patients at this year’s event, which was held at the newly refurbished Ramsbottom Civic Hall.
Youngsters from St John with St Mark CE Primary School, St Gabriel’s RC High School and the 10th Radcliffe Brownies were among those singing Christmas carols and entertaining visitors.
Yvonne Moore, the newly-crowned Bury Woman of the Year, officially opened the event and the fun continued through to the afternoon.
More than 20 stalls were selling festive gifts, and there were children’s games, a tombola, raffle, and Santa’s grotto.
