PUPILS at St Joseph & St Bede RC Primary School in Bury have enacted the true meaning and majesty of the Christmas story.
A total of 120 infant children at the Danesmoor Drive school put on two performances of the nativity in front of proud parents. They sang eight songs, which contained narration and drama.
Children in Year Two took on the acting roles while pupils from reception and Year One sang in the choir. Families then joined in with a further three traditional carols.
Assistant headteacher Mrs Anne Booker said: “This was a truly happy occasion enjoyed by children, families, staff and friends of the school.”
