Year 10 Industry Evening - 6 March 2008 The above event took place at the school earlier this month and was a resounding success. It was a wonderful atmosphere and all pupils looked really smart. People from all walks of life and professions gave up their time to become interviewers in a Mock Interview situation. This was an excellent practice for all pupils' forthcoming interviews. They were given an insight into the many careers and occupations they may wish to take up and their confidence was boosted by the experience.

RESULTS CROSS COUNTRY - Congratulations to Aaron Barker who finished 6th in the N.W.event and qualified for the National Finals at Loughborough in April. This means that we now have a squad of 38 students in 7 different sports who have qualified, which is our biggest squad ever ! Well done to all the qualifiers and good luck in April. The boys team came 3rd in the team competition.

AS part of the Healthy Schools Week, the pupils at Bury Catholic Preparatory School underwent training with the Community Police Support Officers. Children participated in a range of activities including Stranger Danger awareness and how/when to make an emergency telephone call.

On Friday 25 January 2008 Tottington High School entered 2 teams in the Under 13's football competition. The teams comprised of years 7 and year 8 students. Our school has entered this competition every year and won the title three years ago and were runners up last year.

RESULTS HOCKEY - The BOYS team won the British Colleges N.W. Regional championships at Timperley Hockey Club on Wednesday, beating Aquinas 5-4 on sudden death penalty flicks after a 1-1 draw. Congratulations to all the students and staff involved, who now travel to Loughborough for the National Finals in April.
