Results: British Colleges National Finals Loughborough University - 4th, 5th and 6th April.
A record number of 52 students, across 7 different sports, competed in these championships, representing the North West against the other 7 regions.
The girls swimming team won gold; the girls basketball team and boys trampolining team won silver, and all competitors won some of their pool matches and thus gained points for the North West team. Well done to all who took part, you were a great credit to the college and the North West Region.
Girls Football Having already won the North West Colleges League, the team travelled to the Manchester County F.A. Headquarters at Salford for a North West regional cup competition. They did really well to reach the final before losing on penalties after a 2-2 draw. Well done to all players on a brilliant season!

With one remaining league match, away at Bolton on Tuesday, the boys football teams have a chance of winning their leagues, or coming second or third, depending on other results.
