AS part of the Healthy Schools Week, the pupils at Bury Catholic Preparatory School underwent training with the Community Police Support Officers. Children participated in a range of activities including Stranger Danger awareness and how/when to make an emergency telephone call.
Other activities included Nursery Children learning the Green Cross Code, older children refreshing their First Aid training and classes learning about safety inside and outside of the home.
The week ended with a visit from officers from Bury Fire Station. Parents also took full advantage of their offer for a home fire risk assessment.
