School fair raises cash and smiles

BURY Catholic Prep School was left egg-static when a successful Easter fair raised £1,250.
The event, organised by the Manchester Road school’s PTA, embraced a number of attractions including an inflatable slide, bouncy castle, face painting, games, penalty shoot-out and stalls selling cakes, Easter eggs and other goods.
Now, thanks to the money raised, the proceeds will fund outdoor markings and play equipment.
