PUPILS, parents and friends joined forces on Friday evening to support the Christmas fair at Emmanuel Church of England Primary School at Holcombe.
A variety of stalls were set up in the hall at the school in Helmshore Road and festive food including mince pies and mulled wine were served.
The deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Bury, Coun Farook Chaudhry and his wife Rabina opened the event and praised pupils and staff for their excellent Ofsted report. The Christmas fair raised nearly £1,000.
