PUPILS at Bury Grammar School Boys chose a charity close to their heart for their latest fundraising venture.
For they raised £1,115.12 for the British Heart Foundation.
The youngsters took part in an initiative called Heartbeat Bury which saw them take part in a day of activities related to healthy living.
They prepared healthy food, learned about the dangers of smoking, and calculated their body mass index.
The day ended with a sponsored two-mile run to raise money for the charity.
