TWO schoolchildren from Bury were among the prizewinners at a North West design and techology festival.
Jake Chadwick and Michael Walker-Byrne, from Springside Primary in Springside Road, received a prize for their practical designs.
Pupils from 15 North West primary schools and 23 secondary schools took part in the event at Bolton Science and Technology Centre, aimed at inspiring young people’s interests in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
