      <title>CHINA : YEAR 7 CROSS-CURRICULAR THEME</title>
      <link>http://www.burytimes.co.uk/schools/2133167.CHINA___YEAR_7_CROSS_CURRICULAR_THEME/</link>
<description>All Year 7 lessons in the first two weeks of this half term had the common theme of China. This common teaching and learning approach allowed all departments to deliver lessons based around the various aspects of Chinese life and culture. The Technology departments concentrated on Chinese food and inventions such as kites, whilst the Science department investigated the science of earthquakes and hot air balloons. Humanities subjects examined Human Rights in China, a number of other disciplines preferred to base their week on the 2008 Beijing Olympics.</description>
