HUNDREDS of Rochdale fans have been left queueing outside Gigg Lane before the start of this afternoon's local derby.
With Dale needing three points to stay in the race for automatic promotion, their supporters have turned out in force.
Shakers' safety officers have delayed kick-off by 15 minutes but the huge queues, which stretch back from the Main Stand and Manchester Road End through the car park and past the club shop, are unlikely to be cleared in that time.
With space already at a premium in the MRE and portion of the Main Stand that Rochdale have been apportioned, it now seems likely that some fans may miss the game altogether.
