NICKY Adams might be prospering on the international scene, but his future closer to home is still in some doubt.
The enigmatic winger has been called up by Wales Under-21s to face England on May 15 to cap a successful season.
Welsh boss Brian Flynn was on hand to watch the 21-year-old in last week's victory over Macclesfield Town and could well hand him a second international cap in the Wrexham friendly.

At Gigg Lane, however, he has been given a rough ride by a minority of Shakers supporters, despite the fact that he currently leads League Two's assist table and has scored 13 goals this term.
Some Bury fans appear convinced that Adams' future lies at Rochdale, citing close links with former Gigg Laners David Flitcroft and Tom Kennedy. But, speaking after scoring the Shakers' goal in a man-of-the-match performance against Dale at the weekend, Adams insisted nothing had been arranged.
"I think the Rochdale fans were singing my name at one point," he said. "They can think what they like. I'm out of contract and I'm not going to say what is going to happen because I don't know. You can never rule anything out."
Alan Knill said that he was "very hopeful" the club could tie Adams down to a longer contract after opening talks again last week.
"We're talking to him about a new contract and I think Nicky wants to stay," he said. "We're delighted to have him and I've already seen some progress with him. I think he will be a top player."
