PAUL Scott's strike and a David Artell own goal were enough to hand Bury their third consecutive League Two victory.
The Shakers had to come from behind for victory, with Rene Howe putting Morecambe into an early lead but the Shakers were full value for the points.
Morecambe's best chance to equalise in the second half came when Howe's shot was turned around the post by Wayne Brown in the 54th minute.
Substitute Danny Racchi went close for Bury with a stinging shot that Barry Roche did well to palm away, but it didn't matter much as Bury held on for the points.
