BURY had to settle for a point at Aldershot after squandering a three-goal lead.
The Shakers went into the half-time break two goals up thanks to Andy Bishop and Paul Scott.
They looked home and dry when Bishop made it three on 57 minutes following a well-worked set-piece.
However, Aldershot rallied and pulled a goal back when Rob Elvins planted a free header past Brown in the 70th minute to signal the start of the home side's fightback.
Gary Waddock's side were awarded a penalty six minutes later when Scott handled a cross into the box, and Scott Davies made no mistake from the spot.
The comeback was complete just two minutes later when Danny Hylton ran through on goal and slotted past Brown to send the home support wild.
