ANGLING: Rigby prevails in November contest

THE winner of Bury District Angling Society’s November Cup at Field Lodge, Tottington, was Brian Rigby.
Ramsbottom Angling Association’s Christmas party and presentation will take place on Saturday, December 1, at Woodbank Cricket Club, starting at 7pm.
Tickets are £10, including buffet and entertainment, and can be obtained from treasurer Peter Knowles on 01706 218497.
The rescheduled match will be fished at Bradshaw Fisheries on Sunday. For queries contact match secretary Allan Warrington.
