BOLTON Association newcomers Bury have launched an appeal for new players across all age groups ahead of their forthcoming campaign.

Meanwhile, the club have organised a golf day at Pike Fold Golf Club to raise funds towards the new pavilion and clubhouse which is currently under construction.
The inaugural event takes place on Thursday, April 25 when 20 teams of four – at a cost of £200 per team – will take part with prizes for “nearest the pin”, “longest drive”, and“beat the pro” on offer. There will be hot food available as well as the chance to win raffle prizes and bid for some signed sporting memorabilia.
There are only five team slots left. Anyone interested should contact Dave Bowen 07764 625679.
Central Lancashire League side Radcliffe are also looking for players – from competitive cricketers to “recreational beginners”.
