4:15pm
59 - Ironic cheers from ther Shrews fans as Marvin Morgan gets off the home team's first shot of the match, but the blocked effort rolls tamely to Trevor Carson.
YELLOW - Ebanks-Landell is booked for taking Morgan out on the wing
4:08pm
52 - John-Lewis heads a difficult chance wide after rising highest to Worrall's deep cross.
4:04pm
It looks a case of neither side wanting to lose, but I would say that, with the run of fixtures coming up, this is one Bury have to win...
4:02pm
Bury had the better of the first half, but neither side created a decent chance of note, other than Skarz's free-kick.
4:01pm
K/O: Bury kick off with no changes on either side.

H/T: Shrewsbury Town 0 Bury 0
3:41pm
Bury are looking a little disjointed, with Skarz and Worrall the only players offering any real width, forcing them to cross from deep and no chance of getting in behind the Shrews defence.
On the plus side, Shrewsbury are yet to muster a shot - on or off the target.
3:37pm
John-Lewis is getting a rollicking by Blackwell and rightly so. The striker is not putting the same shift in he did against MK Dons. Seems to be more interested in defending the centre cirlce than closing the Shrews defenders down.
3:28pm
29 - Ajose gets his first sniff at goal, but he's out-muscled at the near post by Cameron Gayle as he attempts to get on the end of Worrall's cross from the right
3:25pm
26 - Chris Weale in the Shrews goal gets down low to his right to keep a curling Joe Skarz free-kick out..
3:23pm
@CraigNelsonBT @burytimes bbc has Boswell starting for bury. Have they got it wrong again?
— @ajdev 26 January 2013
3:20pm
21 - Marvin Morgan slips marker Ashley Eastham in the box but his lay-off is intercepted. Of the new signings, Zubar looks to have settled the quickest...
3:18pm
Not much quality so far on a bobbly pitch. Bury look solid though and are just edging possession..
3:12pm
13 - New boy Zubar puts in an uncompromising clearing header and then hoofs another cross clear - is he Sodje in disguise?
3:10pm
One other name missing from the Bury squad is Andrai Jones - quite a risky one to drop considering Blackwell only has Mark Hughes as defensive cover on the bnench and an inexperienced right-back in Worrall on the field. Hope that doesn't come back to haunt the Shakers boss.
3:05pm
6 - Mambo puts in a great block to deny Schumacher in the box. Resulting corner comes to nothing.
3:04pm
5 - Worrall has started at right-back but did well to make it all the way up to the Shrews byline then to put in Bury's first cross. Going to be a lung-busting day for David by the looks of it...
3:02pm
As predicted, Ajose is playing in a wide role on the right of a five man midfield, with John-Lewis the loan frontman, reprising the role he performed so well in at MK Dons. Just need a goal now Lenny...
2:58pm
K/O: Shrews get the game under way...
2:57pm
Players are out at the Greenhous, Bury playing in their black away kit and Shrews in their usual yellow and blue.
Both sets of players, not surprisingly, warming up. They'll need it, not a good day for tight hamstrings...
2:54pm
@CraigNelsonBT Heck - that would be a shock. Does he know Steve King?
— @DanyRobson1 26 January 2013
2:44pm
Bryan Flynn not trusting anything to chance ahead of Doncaster's visit to Gigg Lane next week. He's personally scotuing the Bury team, braving a chill westerly breeze with pad at the ready...

Team news
Kevin Blackwell makes three changes from the team that started at MK Dons in Bury's last match two weeks ago.
New loan signings Ashley Eastham and Stephane Zubar go straight in at centre-back, with Mark Hughes dropping to the bench and Efe Sodje left out of the squad altogether.
Nicky Ajose, Blackwell's third new signing of the week, also comes straight into the first team, with Tom Hopper losing out as the sixth loanee at the club, meaning he can take no part in the squad.
The other surprise is a maximum seven players on the bench, with David Healy and Andy Bishop both returning from injuries to strengthen Blackwell's hand.
Shrewsbury, who have only won once in seven games, make two changes, with Jabo Mambo coming in from Charlton.
Connor Goldson makes way for him, with Cameron Gayle switching to right-back.
Rob Purdie also comes in for Luke Summerfield and will play on the left of midfield, while Tom Bradshaw keeps Luke Rodgers out in attack.

1:57pm
It's a bit chilly down here at the Greenhous, but the match between Shrewsbury and Bury is definitely on.
We are just waiting for the team news, with changes expected on both sides.
Returning Shakers Nicky Ajose and Ashley Eastham are in line to make their second debuts for the club, while new centre-back Stephane Zubar could make his first.
Despite signing two defenders this week, it looks like Kevin Blackwell could stick with David Worrall at right-back, although that is still to be confirmed.

February looks a tough month of fixtures especially given the fact that we have 2 extra games in midweek.
We take the point here and move on,it's good to see that we look solid in defence.
Yes the need for strikers is obvious, please send Bishy,Healy and L-j-Lewis out on loan and send Hops back to Leicester City.
None of these strikers will score enough goals to keep us up.

Apparently we are trying to get rid of of our high wage erners.
Cancelling contracts is a waste of time unless the club doesn't have to pick up the costs.
Perhaps THE FAT FRAUD might come to his senses and realise there is no point in him hanging around like a bad smell, cut his losses and go.
Thank goodness he's only on a 1 year contract on 3k a week.
Do you think Grella will be allowed to join a relegation rival like ourselves.
Heard on the grapevine that Bishy to Wrexham for 7k and Hughes to Tranny for 7k just to pay off their wages and free up two signings one permanent and one temp.
In future we should never offer anyone who has seen their better days a long term contract.
It just goes to show that THE FLY CATCHER was a poor judge of character when he snapped Fatty up.

Come on KB, find that "Rabbit"...a goal scorer would be the right ticket.

Now, can we lure a striker and start scoring goals. If so, KB will have done a master job at rebuilding the "pudding club" and keeping us in League 1.
But the next matches look rough, Brentford, Donny, and does not get better for a period of 6 weeks.
