BURY have signed former Club Brugge striker Jeanvion Yulu-Matondo on non-contract terms.
The 27-year-old forward, who was born in Zaire but represented Belgium up to Under-21 level, scored 11 goals in 42 appearances for Brugge, including one against Juventus in the Champions League.
He went on to play more than 80 times for Dutch side Roda JC before a spell at Lefski Sofia.
Known as Yulu or “Clifford”, the striker, who can also play out wide, has spent the last three weeks on trial at Gigg Lane after being released by Belgian side KVC Westerlo.
Bury will have to wait for international clearance, which is unlikely to come before tomorrow night’s match at home to Sheffield United.
