Golf day in aid of Radcliffe Road pavilion
9:00am Thursday 7th March 2013 in Sport By Nick Jackson
BURY Cricket Club have organised a fundraising golf day at Pike Fold GC for Thursday, April 25.
The Bolton Association newcomers want 20 teams to particpate in the event, which has been organised to raise cash to help pay for their new pavilion.
There will be a shotgun start at about 1.30pm and there will be a handicap limit of 24 with three-quarter handicap in operation and the stableford system will be used to score.
The best three individual scores out of the four players in the team taken together will make up the team score for the purposes of the team prizes. The awards on the day are for team winners (best three from four in the team cumulative score), individual with best score, second-placed team, longest drive, nearest pin in one, and nearest pin in two and the wooden spoons. Anyone interested should contact Paul Belston on 07917 067655.
