Bury v Scunthorpe rearranged (From Bury Times)

Well there's two ways at looking at this new rearranged fixture against The Iron.

We might be already down by the time they come to play us at Gigg Lane.

The thought of them sending us down is quite unthinkable.

On the other hand it gives us some breathing space from a rather congested fixture list in March.

Does anyone know if the club were made to pay the police costs for the postponed game last Tuesday.

5 home games postponed,none away from home,coincidence or is the pitch/drainage not up to standards?.

I think some of it comes down to our geographical location in relation to poor weather.

However the way the fixtures came out we were always going to fall victim to poor weather in the Winter.

It seems the people who arranged the fixtures wanted us to play most of our home games on tuesday nights reducing our income or on Saturdays when the weather might intervene.
