FULL-TIME: Wycombe Wanderers 1 Bury 2
BURY roared back after going behind at Adams Park to claim their first win in 10 matches against 10-man Wycombe Wanderers.
The Shakers' defence went missing as Wanderers centre-back Anthony Stwewart was allowed time and space to volley home the opener on 16 minutes, although it looked as if his marker, Nathan Cameron, was blocked in the build-up.
The visitors were never out of the match, though, and deserved their equaliser when Tom Soares slotted home an Anton Forrester centre 21 minutes from time.
Wycombe midfielder Matt Bloomfield then saw red for a rash sliding tackle on Shaun Beeley before William Edjenguele headed the winner from a Chris Sedgwick corner two minutes from time.
The entire team celebrated by sliding on their knees towards the joyous Bury away following.
And the relief was clear at the final whistle as Ronnie Jepson’s side capped their first goals in more than 400 minutes of football with a deserved victory that took them three points clear of the League Two drop zone.
