THERE is only one man who Bury could have invited to be star guest at the JD Stadium for today’s Boxing Day clash with Scunthorpe United – the town’s very own world champion Scott Quigg, pictured.
The 25-year-old fighter battled his way to his first world title this year when he clinched the WBA super-bantamweight belt.
And the Bury boxer will take pride of place at the club’s 1885 Suite, where he will be speaking about his fantastic achievement.
Shakers fans can celebrate the season with Quigg as part of a hospitality package that also includes a pre-match buffet, a seat in the directors’ box and a hot dessert at half-time.
Tickets for the event sold out within minutes of going on sale.
