It was a battle of the basement clubs in the Rossendale Badminton League this week as the bottom two sides met in Division One.
Rising Bridge B, still looking for their first win of the season, played host to Transport.
After a very close match, Transport won by a narrow 16-14 margin. Transport also played at home to third bottom Oakgate.
The hosts made it two wins in a row with a 17-13 victory to move them off the bottom of the table.
In Division Two, an unbeaten Edenfield A duly took over at the top-of-the-table after a 20-10 away win over Towneley. Goodshaw A remain in third place after a 19-10 home win against bottom side Edenfield B.
Results Division One: Rising Bridge B 14 Transport 16, Transport 17 Oakgate 13.
Division Two: Towneley 10 Edenfield A 20, Goodshaw A 19 Edenfield B 10.
