Bury have confirmed goalkeeper Rob Lainton has joined League Two rivals Burton Albion on a month's loan.

The 24-year-old former Bolton Wanderers stopper joined on a free transfer in the summer but has only made six appearances for the first team.

Lainton lost his place in the starting line-up after suffering a fractured shoulder and subsequently fell behind Brian Jensen and Reice Charles-Cook in the pecking order.
