BURY will have at least two competitors at the Commonwealth Games after James Guy and Lewis Coleman were picked for England’s 39-strong swimming team.

Guy, aged 18, who won two silver medals and a gold at the World Junior Championships, is a freestyle specialist at both 200m and 400m. Coleman, aged 21, is already a champion – a champion fundraiser – after organising Swim4Leukaemia, a record-breaking 100-leg charity swim.

The Commonwealth team is yet to announce which events the pair will be competing in.
