Bury boxer Ibrahim Nadim defeated in final of youth championships
Bury ABC boxer Ibrahim Nadim suffered an unanimous points defeat in the final of the youth championships held in London on Sunday.
Fourteen-year-old Nadim, pictured, lost 3-0 to last year’s 34-36kg national champion Michael Oats, from Repton ABC in the 40kg contest at Napier House.
Coach Mick Jelley said: “Ibrahim fought well and it was a good contest that went three rounds.
“To reach a national final is a big achievement for him and for us as a club.”
