A below-par performance at home to Crompton saw Unsworth crash to their second successive league defeat on Saturday.
Batting first, Crompton posted a good score of 161-9 on a tricky wicket.
Unsworth’s seamers toiled hard in the heat, Chris Williams taking 3-25 from his 15 overs and Jack O’Brien returning 3-39 from 16 overs.
Crompton’s West Indian overseas wicket-keeper batsman Denise Louis scored a match-winning 72 and was supported well by Rigby (28) in a 70-run partnership.
In reply, Unsworth failed to build any significant partnerships as the experience of Mel Austin (4-51) proved too much.
He was supported well by stand-in seamer Zulfiqar (4-24), as the Unsworth batsmen continued to find the fielders.
Unsworth were eventually bowled out for 101.
