ONE-time Bury target Frederic Veseli has moved to Port Vale on loan.

The 21-year-old Ipswich full-back, who played 18 games during a temporary spell at Bury last season, is expected to make his debut against Bolton Wanderers tomorrow night.

Shakers manager David Flitcroft recently admitted an interest in bringing the former Manchester United and Manchester City defender back to the JD Stadium on another temporary deal.

But with vice-captain Craig Jones reverting to right-back – the position Veseli filled during his time at Bury – Flitcroft said any move for the Swiss Under-21 international could have been “overkill”.

Veseli, who has only made one League Cup start for Ipswich since joining in 2013, will remain at Vale until January.
