Triple gold for Radcliffe school skater Emma Thiele

First published in Sport

Artistic roller-skater Emma Thiele has picked up three gold medals at a recent Inter-club event in the North East.

The youngster who attends St Mary’s RC Primary School in Radcliffe, picked up two wins in dance discipline and one in free.

It capped another successful event for the current British Mini Solo Dance Champion, who skates for Bolton Artistic Roller skating Club.

Coached by Nina Asquith, 10-year-old Emma has represented Great Britain and will do so again in November in the Cup of Europe in Luso, Portugal.

Although she has represented Great Britain before, the Cup Of Europe is a premium event for Emma who is sponsored by Supply UK and BT Marine shop which helps with the costs of her equipment and travel expenses.
