WOODBANK CC's first team has been bolstered by the signing of Anthony Harris for the start of the new season.
The top order batsman and proven run scorer joins from Haslingden and takes over the captaincy for the Lancashire County League side.
Lewis McIntosh continues as professional for a third term, while top order batter and off spinner Andrew Van Zyl, from South Africa, comes in as the club's overseas player.
Returning to the fold is former pro Mark Stringer who is joined by his son Ryan Stringer, who is an exciting left arm medium fast bowler.
With Harry Dearden moving to Hyde and David Bell emigrating to Denmark, talented youngsters Dominic Gowers, Kieran Grundy and Ryan Barker will be looking to impress.
Woodbank begin their league campaign at Glossop on April 25, 1pm start.
