YOUNG Bury boxers Ibrahim Nadim and Muavia Nasim will fight in the quarter-finals of the national girls and boys championships later this month following unanimous point successes at Croxteth Leisure Centre on Sunday.
Nadim won his 46-48kg pre-quarter final bout against Luke Duffy of Croxteth ABC, while Nasim made light work of Anthony Hannah in his 50-52kg Class B contest.
However there was disappointment for Hasnain Sajjad who lost his 66-70kg fight on points to Alex Patterson from Gemini ABC.
Nadim and Nasim will now fight in the last 16 in Sheffield on November 22.
