BURY ABC duo Zain Ahmed and Ali Akbar Javid have made it into the finals of the ABA national schoolboy championships.
Both 13-year-olds won qualifying bouts in Croxteth over the past two weekends and will now fight for national titles in Grantham on Saturday.
Ahmed squeezed into the 46k semi-finals via a split decision against hometown fighter Jack Turner but there was no doubt about his victory in the final qualifier after earning a unanimous win on points against Ali Shar, of Hordon in Tyne and Wear.
Akbar Javid beat both his opponents in the 52k division on points, earning unanimous decisions in each victory. He overcame Anthony Dobson, of Gemini ABC, in the quarter-finals and Midlander Gulraj Powar, of Carter's ABC, in the last four.
Elsewhere, Cole Gaynor, aged 14, beat Carlisle Villa's N Kingston on points in a 56k bout in Carlisle, earning a unanimous decision against the hometown fighter.
