RAMSBOTTOM United and Radcliffe FC will face off in two bank holiday showdowns this season.

The fixtures were unveiled for the newly titled Evo-Stik North this morning.

Rammy will host the first match between the two local rivals on August Bank Holiday Monday, while Borough will host the reverse fixture on New Year's Day.

Both clubs are hoping to bounce back from below-par campaigns to fight for promotion this season.

Mark Fell's Ramsbottom United begin the season at home on Saturday, August 12, with Tadcaster Albion the visitors to the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium before a midweek trip to Wales to face Colwyn Bay.

They host the division's new boys Atherton Collieries on Boxing Day, while the season ends with a trip to Glossop North End.

Borough are also at home on the opening day, when they will host Integro Cup winners Bamber Bridge before a midweek trip to Droylsden.

They travel to Trafford on Boxing Day and end the season at Prescot Cables.
