SCOTT Quigg will attend a training camp in New York next month - but he has some business to attend to first in the shape of Ghanaian fighter Ayittey Mettle.
The Bury boxing ace fights Mettle at Olympia in Liverpool on Saturday before jetting out to train in some of America's best gyms later this summer.
And Quigg is determined to stretch his 100 per cent professional record to nine wins just a fortnight after bouncing back from the canvas to beat Italian prospect Angelo Villani.
"I am looking forward to getting back into the ring so quickly after my last fight," said the 19-year-old. "I am determined that I will make fewer mistakes than last time.
"I got caught with a clean shot against Villani and it put me down, but I think I showed I can bounce back and do the business. I am not too worried because my defence is pretty good anyway and I have just been analysing the fight and picking up on little things I can do better.
"I watch all my fights again and I think I fight differently every time because I adapt to my opponent. That is definitely a good thing.
"I have shown that I can box or fight, come forward or stay back."
