Bury CC are looking to host an extravaganza of floodlight Twenty20 cricket.

The games will take place on Monday, August 25 Tuesday, August 26, Wednesday 27, with a finals night on Thursday, August 28.

The week will finish with a charity pro game on Friday, August 29 comprising a Pakistan XI v Rest of the World XI.

The main focus of the event is two-fold – an opportunity for local clubs to play under lights for the first time and the second is for Bury Cricket Club to honour one of their past members, Dave Hindley, who served the club in many capacities and who died in September 2007.

Dave spent his last few weeks at Bury Hospice, and the club wants to thank them for the care they gave to him.

Entry into the tournament is £20 to cover administrative costs. Contact Wayne Belston 07856 355424 for more information.
