Latics forced to pay up for Stephens

A tribunal has ruled League One outfit Oldham must pay Bury up to £95,000 for midfielder Dale Stephens.
Oldham must pay an advanced sum of £30,000 with a further £10,000 payable should the player reach 15, 30, 45 and 60 senior appearances.
Furthermore, the Gigg Lane outfit will be entitled to an additional £25,000 if Oldham gain promotion while a 20 per cent sell-on clause has also been inserted.
