Knill scoops top award

SHAKERS manager Alan Knill has been named Manager of the Month after leading Bury to the top of the league.
The Gigg Lane side went through September unbeaten, taking eight points from their four League Two fixtures.
Knill becomes the first Shakers manager to win the award since Stan Ternent took the gong in April 1996.
