Bury amateur boxer Sarah Dunne has been picked to represent England in Hertfordshire this weekend.
The 26-year-old from Prestwich will take part in a competition against representatives from Wales on Saturday having made the step up to national level for the European Championships last summer.
There were mixed results for young fighters from the Seedfield club this week.
Cole Gaynor won unanimously on points over Luis Duffy from Kirkdale ABC in his bout at Bootle on Friday night, while Umar Amjad lost on points to Mikey McGinley from the same gym in his contest.
Elsewhere, boxers from around the country gathered at Sir Thomas Rich's School in Gloucester on Friday night for a black tie dinner show with Bury's rising star Ali Zahid stopping his opponent, Danny Harris from Paddy John's ABC in Bristol, in the third round of his fight.
