LIZ Norris is Britain's oldest female boxer but it didn't show as the Radcliffe boxer rolled back the years last Friday.
The 39-year-old was the star turn for Radcliffe Elite Boxing Club during the last-ever boxing event to be staged at Radcliffe Civic Suite before it is demolished.
Norris scored an impressive first-round TKO victory over Michelle Buckley of Wildcard ABC, and that performance was also enough for her to win the Norman Howarth memorial trophy for boxer of the night.
The best contest of the night involved Radcliffe senior welterweight Jason Helliwell, though, as he prevailed against Jordon Cairns of Preston in three rounds of non-stop action.
Senior featherweight Zain Sarfraz won a wide margin points win over Syed Shah of Fit2xl ABC, while senior lightweight Jack Wolstenholme lost a split decision to George Keys of Castle Hill in another all-action contest.
Senior featherweight Sahil Hussain also lost a split decision, to Brandon Hargreaves of Clayton, but schoolboy Ryan Williams got the better of Kaiden Matley of Partington in a skills contest.
It was the 11-year-old's first contest and he looks one to watch for the future.
