Phil Heaton’s unbeaten 42 helped Greenmount secure sixth place in the league on Saturday.
The Brandlesholme Road men clinched a nine-wicket win against Heaton on a day when newly-crowned champions Farnworth Social Circle’s celebrations were dampened a little when they lost by 34 runs to Horwich Heaton were all out for 80 with Mark Stewart, pictured, taking 5-50 and Greenmount knocked off the runs in 14 overs.
In their final game of the season on Sunday, second-placed Bradshaw relied on the trio of Tom Liversedge (30), Nick Lester (20) and Mohammed Jameel (21) to defeat Greenmount by three wickets.
