GREENMOUNT Cricket Club are inviting new players to take part in their winter nets sessions.
Anyone wishing to play in one of the three senior teams in the coming season is welcome to turn up and practice from this Sunday until March 29.
The sessions will take place at the new sports hall facilities at Derby High School on Radcliffe Road from noon until 2pm each week.
Additionally, Greenmount CC are holding a number of events in the coming months starting with a Sportsman's Dinner on Friday, March 20, which will help raise funds for club development.
Former Nottingham Forest and Wales goalkeeper Mark Crossley and comedian Lea Roberts will be in attendance. Tickets cost £27.50 each.
A beer festival will be held on Friday, April 10 to Sunday, April 12 and a Comedy Night on Friday, April 17.
