WALSHAW skipper Mikey Watt believes his side are in good shape and ready for the start of the new Bolton Association season.
The Sycamore Road outfit, who finished in fifth place last year, have signed overseas player Dawayne Sealy.
The opening right arm fast bowler and middle order batsman joins from Barbados.
With a settled side and no departures, the club has also gained the services of the returning Danny Holland from a year's sabbatical. Paul Ferriday, who was the captain of the 1989 title-winning side, is also back at the club as player/coach.
"We are looking strong and looking forward to the season," said Watt.
"Paul will add exactly what we need at the club – an older head that's been there and bought the T-shirt."
Walshaw begin their league campaign at home to Blackrod on Saturday, 1.30pm start.
