Postponed Boxing Day clash gets new Easter date
TOTTINGTON St John’s will host Brooksbottom on Good Friday after the clubs’ traditional Boxing Day clash was rained off.
Heavy flooding put paid to the original match, which has been played in all weathers – even snow.
The rearranged game, which will either be 20 or 30-over tussle, weather permitting, will start at 1pm on Friday, March 25.
There will be a full bar and refreshments, while the event will double up as Tottington St John’s women’s open day, when guests will be given a tour around the club’s new changing rooms and updated facilities.
