Newby to start loan spell at Gloucestershire

Lancashire have loaned out seamer Oliver Newby to Gloucestershire CCC for a month-long period from Monday.
Newby goes straight into Gloucestershire’s squad for their LV County Championship Division 2 fixture against Worcestershire at Cheltenham starting on Wednesday.
Lancashire manager Mike Watkinson said: “We have a very busy schedule of matches towards the end of the season and we will need everyone firing at such an important time.
"Oliver is currently short of cricket and this is a good opportunity for him play competitive First-Class cricket until he is required by Lancashire in the not so distant future.”
