THE goals rained in as the Boro boys came out tops in an entertaining encounter.

They scored first on nine minutes when Jack Higginson put Ewan McCulloch through, who made no mistake.

But they conceded within two minutes before McCulloch restored their advantage with his second.

Lever then missed a penalty and Stone kept Boro in front with two brilliant saves, but the visitors forced an equaliser before half-time.

Boro regained the lead within two minutes of the restart as McCulloch completed his hat-trick.

It got even better for the rampant striker when he notched his fourth from the edge of the area.

Higginson then got in on the act with two of his own. Lever pegged it back to 7-3, before Connor Stone made it eight. The visitors scored a consolation in the last minute.
