Emma Thiele stars for Great Britain
YOUNG artistic skater Emma Thiele is on a roll ahead of next month's British Championships after two promising performances in big competitions.
The 11-year-old came fourth at an event in Paris while competing for Great Britain and second in the free dance section of a national tournament in Hayards Heath.
Emma, who lives in Whitefield and is a pupil St Mary's RC Primary School in Radcliffe, skates for Bolton Artistic Roller Skating Club and is coached by Nina Asquith.
The British Championships are due to take place at Andover Leisure Centre on Saturday and Sunday, May 23-24.
