SCOTT Quigg will return to the ring in November in a match billed as an eliminator for a shot at the WBA world featherweight title.

The 28-year-old former super-bantamweight world champion will take on Ukranian Oleg Yefimovich in Monte Carlo on Saturday, November 4.

It is expected the winner will go on to face Mexican Leo Santa Cruz, who beat Quigg conqueror Carl Frampton to win the WBA title.

Quigg has enjoyed wins in two comeback fights since losing his world title to Frampton in February last year.

The Bury ace switched to current trainer Freddie Roach before his last bout, when he saw off Viorel Simion by a unanimous decision on the Joshua/Klitschko undercard in April.
