BURY golf ace Amelia Taylor has won the under-14s girls US Kids European Championship in Gullane, Scotland.
The teenage ace won the scratch event over three rounds with gross scores of 82-82-84 (total 248) on Gullane number two course.
American Jacqueline Eleey finished second, nine shots back behind the talented youngster.
And Amelia then made it a double success.
By becoming the European champion, she qualified to play for Europe in the prestigious Van Horn Cup against an international team, which was played on Gullane’s number one course.
In a Ryder Cup style event with two players from each age group representing either Europe or the Internationals, Amelia halved the match with her European playing partner Danielle Ferry to help the Europeans gain seal a superb 6.5-4.5 victory over their international rivals.
Amelia, along with each member of the winning European team, received a Quaker bowl as a memento of the event and their fantastic success.
