CYCLING: Revolution success for Yates twins

CYCLING twins Adam and Simon Yates were back in action at the weekend for the prestigious finale of the Revolution Race Series, held at the Manchester Velodrome.

The 19-year-old brothers finished the series with 685 points, more than 30-points ahead of Team Sky.

They also finished in the top six in the points race.

The highlight of the evening was an impressive win by Simon in the derny paced event.

Simon’s recent triumph at the National Madison Championship allowed him to wear the red, white and blue national championship jersey.
